Vintage 30

spec sheet
Celestion Vintage 30 is the speaker that comes OEM in Egnater
amps and most boutique amps. |
V30 does have a slightly spike in the
mid/high frequency range. This spike cuts beautiful in the mix |
like the Shure Beta 57 microphone also does. Even at high gain a
Vintage 30 pushes the mids nicely. |

Classic Lead 80 |

spec sheet
Celestion Classic Lead 80 is close to the Vintage 30, but without
the little mid spike.
It has more |
balanced EQ and more of a friendly
character. The Vintage 30 has more of a rock&roll attitude as |
the
Classic Lead being the sophisticated lady. |
The Mesa/Boogie Cel90 and the THD speaker are variations of this
one. |

G12T75 |

spec sheet |
Celestion G12T75 is mostly known as
the OEM speaker in Marshall 1960 cabs. |
The voicing is not vintage but modern with tight lowend, little
scooped mids en pronounced high. |
These qualities makes this speaker a
good choice for rock and metal. |

Greenback |

spec sheet |
Celestion G12M is the official name of the Greenback. Because of the
25 watts not recommend in |
1x12 amps because of exceeding 25
watts power handling. |
The
sound doesn't jump out of the cab, but it does have a very nice
compression. G12H30 is also |
an option but does have grittier and more scooped sound. |
If Vox is your first choice of module
you should consider the Greenback. If you are into hot rod |
Marshall
this is absolutely a 'must have'! |
